9:00 AM – 9:15 AM: Welcome and Opening Remarks
9:15 AM – 10:00 AM: Session 1
- Speaker: Joel Duke, TX State Fire Marshal’s Office
- Topic: Overview of the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Public Protection Classification Oversight Program
- Description: This session will cover a brief overview of the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office with an emphasis on the Public Protection Classification (PPC) program, the Insurance Services Office (ISO), ISO Classifications, and how ISO determines classifications.
10:10 AM – 11:05 AM: Session 2
- Speaker: Daniel Schreiber, J.S. Held LLC
- Topic: Intro to Forensic Meteorology
- Description: Certified Consulting Meteorologist Dan Schreiber (J.S. Held, LLC) will present a seminar to help professionals better understand forensic meteorology and historical weather information for insurance claims and litigation.

- Speaker: Ken Kim, KPMG
- Topic: Fed Chair Powell moves to seal his legacy
- Description: Fed Chair Powell sets sights on salvaging a soft landing for the economy by kicking off the easing cycle with a one-half percent rate cut. The Fed flips from fighting inflation to economic stimulus. Mapping the descent in rates for the rest of this year and next and the outlook for US economic growth.

- Description: Artificial Intelligence has been a huge topic of discussion for the past several months, with most people acknowledging that AI will have a big impact on most industries. But is that a good thing or a bad thing? In this one-hour ethics class, we'll discuss the important question of whether AI will help agents better serve their clients. (Spoiler alert: yes!)

- Speaker: Ian Sterling, KPMG
- Topic: P&C Insurance Trends
- Description: The P&C insurance industry is becoming ever complex with industry challenges causing profit pressure and new competitors re-imagining distribution. This session will provide an overview of key trends impacting losses for various lines of business, actions being taken to respond, particularly with data and analytics, and future considerations for alternative solutions and products.
